Summer 2024

Virtual Summer Camp flier (2).png

Program Description
Elementary school and middle school students engage in a virtual, 7 day summer program through Zoom to learn about different forms of literature. Using interactive games and activities, students will adopt each writing style to create their own creative writing portfolio and will be given an opportunity to present their work to their peers.

Writing Competition Workshop

Workshop Description
Middle and high school students engage in a free webinar and in-person workshop on writing competitions. Writing activities, brainstorming assistance, and mentorship will be provided by Emi Tachibana, a 2024-2025 Scholastic National Silver Medalist in poetry. Students will then be given a guide to navigating writing competitions and programs to map out their competition schedule.

Wordless Digital Anthology (Year-Round)

Anthology Description

Wordless is a student-run international artistic community and digital literary and artistic magazine. For submission to the seasonal publications and to be featured on the website, email your work, work title, and name to Scriptorium.quizbowl@gmail.com or post to #wordlessglobalart on TikTok.

Scriptorium offers a free guide to navigating poetry-writing for high schoolers, focusing on starting poetry-writing, growing as a writer, and entering competitons.
